A boreal bryophyte community in a tropical montane forest of Mexico
- A Nowellia curvifolia community rich in boreal hepatics is reported from rotten logs in a pine forest in the central highlands of Chiapas, Mexico. The community is probably limited in the tropics to conifer forests of northern Mesoamerica.
