A study of hot and dense strongly interacting systems with the quark-hadron chiral parity-doublet model

  • The thermodynamics of strongly interacting systems is studied using an effective QCD chiral mean field model and the equation of state obtained is then applied successfully to both hydrodynamic simulations of heavy-ion collisions; and simulations of the inside of a neutron star.
