N2  - Bohemian and Moravian archives and libraries represent a rich resource of medieval texts on the plague. Advice, recommendations and recipes for avoiding the plague (prophylaxis), as well as instructions on how to treat it (therapy), can be found in many manuscripts from the 14th–16th centuries. An example of a varied approach to this topic can be found in the plague tractates contained in the Křivoklát manuscript I. b. 25 and the Olomouc manuscript M. I. 650. This article describes the origin and presentation of the information in the manuscripts, as well as the graphic arrangement of the text.
