Nordamerikanische Moosarten in Europa
- In Europa wurden 30 Arten identifiziert, welche in Nordamerika in einem geschlossenen Bereich vorkommen, in Europa jedoch nur lokal vertreten sind. Wahrscheinlich wurden sie während dem Holozän verteilt. Diese Annahme wird durch die weitreichende Verstreuung in der nördlichen Hemisphäre unterstützt.
- Thirty species are identified in Europe, which have a closed range in North America but are only locally found in Europe. A discussion reveals that they are most probably dispersed from North America to Europe during the Holocene. This supports the possibility of long distance dispersal in the northern hemisphere.
