• Im Genthiner Urstromtal ergaben Vegetationsanalysen ein Agrostio- und Molinio-Quercetum auf mittleren Sanden (Tab. 1) sowie Cnidium-Quercus-Ges., Stellario-Carpinetum, Galium aparine-Quercus-Semiforst, Sambuco-Quercetum, Anthrisco-fraxinetum und Crataego-Ulmetum auf sandig-lehmigen bis lehmig-tonigen Böden (Tab. 2). Die auf coenologischen Probeflächen ermittelte Ornis besteht aus zwei Kleinvogel- und mehreren Großvogel-Gemeinschaften (Tab. 3-5) mit Merkmalen eigenständiger Coenotypen (Homogenität, regionale Konstanz, großräumige Vikarianz). Analog zur Vegetationsgliederung werden die gesicherten Artenkombinationstypen der Eichenwald-Kleinvögel als selbständige Syntaxa Antho-Passeretum montani/Antho-Phylloscopion auf mittelmäßigen und Luscinio-Passeretum montani/Sylvio-Phylloscopion auf kräftigen bis reichen Standorten herausgestellt (Tab. 6) und zu den Sitto-Phylloscopietalia/Paro-Fringilletea vereinigt.
• Near Genthin (100 km W of Berlin), vegetation analyses yielded the following plant communities of older oakwoods: Agrostio- and Molinio-Quercetum on moderate sand (s. table 1) as well as Cnidium-Quercus comm., Stellario-Carpinetum, Galium aparine-Quercus semiartificial plantation, Sambuco-Quercetum, Anthrisco-Fraxinetum, and Crataego-Ulmetum on more loamy soils (s. table 2). The birds living in them, studied via coenological pattern plots, consisted of two communities of small birds (s. table 3, 4), and several independent avicoenonia of macrobirds (s. table 5). Certain widely distributed species combinations of small oakwood birds were identified as independent groups: Antho-Passeretum montani/Antho-Phylloscopion at mesotrophic sites and Luscinio-Passeretum montani/Sylvio-Phylloscopion at eutrophic sites (s. table 6), both united within the Sitto-Phylloscopietalia and Paro-Fringilletea.
