• Auf ehemals militärisch genutzten Liegenschaften wurden unterschiedliche Wiesen-, Magerrasen- und Pioniergesellschaften untersucht. Es werden Bestände der Sedo-Scleranthetea, Nardo-Callunetea, Festuco-Brometea, Molinio-Arrhenatheretea und Isoeto-Nanojuncetea beschrieben. Das Grünland zeichnet sich durch Großflächigkeit und Artenarmut (insbesondere an Charakterarten) aus. Vor allem auf trockenen, nassen bzw. mageren Sonderstandorten kommen einzelne gefährdete Pflanzenarten vor. Die teils erheblichen nutzungsbedingten Vorbelastungen werden dargestellt und Entwicklungskonzep­te diskutiert.
• The plant communities of meadows, swards and pioneer sites are described for different conversion projects. Grassland was characterised by its wide and open extension and its relatively poor variety of species. Endangered plants were found especially on dry, wet and poor soils. The former land management was identified as a strong negative impact. On the contrary communi­ties of pioneer sites and heathlands could only develop under these specific conditions; for their preser­vation particular nature conservation measures are necessary. For using these areas in future, they must be differentiated in areas of main interest in view of nature conservation and disturbed areas for further urbanization.
