N2  - During a conversation, it is common to find a speaker unable to decide on the "right" word to express precisely what he would like to communicate in some determined moment of the interactive process of the formulation. Hence, he starts a process of search and lexical selection, frequently helped by his interlocutor, in order to build up the expected meaning, thereafter, achieve comprehension in the interaction. This fact, as well as other linguistic manifestations, exposes the lively nature of the language, pointing to Humboldt's concept of 'energeia'. The aim of this article is to observe this lively character in conversational formulations observed in the Portuguese language and thus evidence how Humboldt's conception of language anticipated the fundamentals of current studies of language in use.
N2  - É comum, numa conversa, que um falante não encontre a palavra "certa" para dizer o que gostaria de dizer, em dado momento do processo interativo da formulação. Desencadeia ele, então, muitas vezes com a ajuda do interlocutor, um trabalho de busca e seleção lexical para construir o sentido desejado e, assim, assegurar a compreensão na interação. Esse fato, como tantas outras manifestações linguísticas, revela o caráter vivo da língua, evidenciando, dessa forma, que ela é, no dizer de Humboldt, 'enérgeia'. O objetivo deste artigo é observar esse caráter vivo em formulações conversacionais em língua portuguesa e, assim, relembrar o quanto a concepção de língua em Humbolt se antecipa aos fundamentos dos estudos atuais da linguagem em uso.
N2  - In einem Gespräch kommt es oft vor, dass dem Sprecher bei der Formulierung eines Gedankens ein "bestimmtes" Wort nicht einfällt, das er zum Ausdruck dessen, was er sagen möchte, benötigt. In diesem Moment wird häufig mit Hilfe des jeweiligen Gesprächspartners eine Suche nach dem passenden Ausdruck für den intentierten Sinn eingeleitet, die in einer das Gesprächsverständnis gewährleistenden lexikalischen Auswahl besteht. Dieser Vorgang offenbart – wie auch zahlreiche weitere Sprachhandlungen – den lebendigen Charakter der Sprache und lässt ersichtlich werden, dass Sprache im Sinne Humboldts 'Energeia' ist. Gegenstand und Zweck dieses Artikels sind die Beobachtung, Analyse und Beschreibung dieses lebendigen Charakters, wie er sich in der portugiesischen Sprache in Formulierungen in Gesprächssituationen manifestiert. Auf diese Weise will der Artikel auch daran erinnern, wie sehr Humboldts Sprachkonzeption den Grundlagen heutiger Studien zur Umgangssprache vorausliegt.
