N2  - The analysis of the relationship between Word and God in the poetry of Paul Celan is obviously the purpose of this study. The starting point of my reflections is representing the prologue of the Gospel according to John 1:1: „In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The question is: does the loss of Word at the logical-semantic level implicitly conduct to the loss of God in Celan’s poems?
