N2  - Frullania tamarisci (L.) Dumort. var. azorica J.-P.Frahm (subg. Frullania) is described as new from the islands of Terceira and Pico (Azores, Portugal). It resembles var. tamarisci, but differs in longly apiculate, incurved leaf apex ending in an unicellular tip and not decurrent underleaves.
