N2  - Preliminary inclusive spectra for K+, K-, Ks0, Λ, and are presented which were measured in central Pb + Pb collisions at 158 GeV per nucleon by the NA49 experiment. A comparison with data from lighter collision systems shows a strong change of the shape of the Λ rapidity distribution. The strangeness enhancement observed in S + S compared to p + p and p + A is not further increased in Pb + Pb.
