N2  - Empreende-se aqui uma leitura de Viagem à Itália, de Goethe, menos como uma obra autobiográfica do que como uma das muitas narrativas enciclopédicas do autor, em que relatos de diferentes dicções e propósitos são reunidos sob motivos e sugestões comuns. Aqui, busca-se identificar esse fio condutor sob a percepção goethiana das formas. Sob o termo, entendemos tanto as formas naturais quanto artísticas, assim como os objetos e ritos da religião católica, trazidas pela experiência italiana.
N2  - Goethe's Journey to Italy is here understood less as an autobiography than as an encyclopedic work of art. Here we can see many different speeches and goals reunited under common suggestions and themes, without a clear articulating line. This article intends to identify Goethe's reception of natural and artistic forms during his stay in Italy as a possible guideline for this work.
