N2  - In diesem Artikel wird erstmals der Wandel der phonologischen und prosodischen Strukturen der deutschen Rufnamen seit 1945 bis heute (2008) bezüglich der Kennzeichnung von Sexus beziehungsweise Gender untersucht. Auf der Grundlage der 20 häufigsten Rufnamen wird gezeigt, wie weibliche und männliche Namen sich diachron im Hinblick auf ihre Sonorität, die verwendeten Vokale (besonders im Nebenton), Hiate, Konsonantencluster, die Silbenzahl und das Akzentmuster verändern. Das wichtigste Ergebnis ist, dass heute die Rufnamen beider Geschlechter strukturell so ähnlich sind wie nie zuvor. Damit hat sich seit dem 2. Weltkrieg eine Androgynisierung vollzogen.
N2  - This article examines for the first time the change of phonological and prosodic structures of the German first names from 1945 up to today (2008) with respect to the encoding of sex and gender. On the basis of the 20 most frequent first names it will be demonstrated how female and male names change diachronically with respect to sonority, the used vowels, consonant clusters, their number of syllables and their stress pattern. The most important result is that the structures of the first names of both sexes have become more simi1ar and thereby more androgynous over time.
