N2  - Piesa „Top Dogs“ a fost scrisă de Urs Widmer “la cerere” pentru Teatrul Neumarkt din Zürich şi tematizează problema concedierilor în rândurile angajaţilor de elită. Această piesă a fost prezentată şi în ţara noastră, în mai multe concepţii regizorale şi mai multe limbi: germană, română, maghiară. Articolul de faţă urmăreşte receptarea piesei „Top Dogs“ în România, compară concepţiile regizorale ale regizorilor români atât între ele cât şi cu premiera din Zürich şi evidenţiază pe lângă diferenţele regizorale şi pe cele textuale.
N2  - The play „Top Dogs” was written by Urs Widmer at the request of the Neumarkt Theater in Zurich and presents the issue of layoffs amongst high-rank employees. This play was put on stage in Romania by a couple of producers, in several languages (German, Romanian, Hungarian). The present article delineates how the Romanian theater directors presented this play and compares the creative differences in mounting the production.
