• Neste artigo, proponho a aproximação do poema "Engführung" (1958), do poeta Paul Celan, com o ensaio "Cascas" (2011 [2017]), do historiador de arte francês Georges Didi-Huberman, tomando como ponto de partida a ideia de percurso que atravessa ambas as obras. Para tanto, baseio-me nas leituras que Joachim Seng faz do poema de Celan (1992; 1998), nas quais lê "Engführung" como um trajeto do eu-poético pelo campo de concentração (Auschwitz) que é, ao mesmo tempo, campo da memória e linguagem. Em "Cascas", Didi-Huberman relata o percurso da sua visita a Auschwitz, enfocando o papel do olhar na realização do trabalho da memória. Nesse sentido, ao posicionar lado a lado o poema e o ensaio, estes parecem apontar para modos de olhar e dizer Auschwitz que colocam para o leitor as tensões inerentes a este movimento, não se omitem desta tarefa ética e refletem criticamente a postura individual e coletiva diante da lacuna do testemunho e do que resta do campo de concentração.
• I propose in this article a reading of the poem "Engführung" (1958), by the poet Paul Celan, with the essay "Cascas" (2011 [2017]), by the French art historian Georges Didi-Huberman, taking as a starting point the idea of path that crosses both works. To do this, I rely on Joachim Seng's readings of Celan's poem (1992; 1998), in which he sees "Engführung" as a route of the lyrical subject through the concentration camp (Auschwitz) which is, at the same time, a field of memory and language. In "Cascas", Didi-Huberman recounts the route of a visit to Auschwitz, focusing on the role of the eye in the realization of the work of memory. In this sense, when placing the poem and the essay side by side, they seem to point out ways of looking at and saying Auschwitz that offer to the reader the tensions inherent in this movement, ways that do not neglect this ethical task and reflect critically the individual and collective stance before the testimony gap and what still remains of the concentration camp.
• In diesem Artikel nehme ich mir eine Annäherung zwischen dem Gedicht "Engführung" (1958) des Dichters Paul Celan und dem Aufsatz "Cascas" (2011 [2017]) des französischen Kunsthistorikers Georges Didi-Huberman vor, wobei die Idee des Weges, die beide Werke durchdringt, als Ausgangspunkt dient. Dazu stütze ich mich auf Joachim Sengs Lesungen von Celans Gedicht (1992; 1998), in denen er "Engführung" als einen Weg des poetischen Ichs durch das Konzentrationslager (Auschwitz) liest, der gleichzeitig Feld der Erinnerung und der Sprache ist. In "Cascas" erzählt uns Didi-Huberman über einen Besuch in Auschwitz, wobei er sich auf die Rolle des Auges bei der Ausführung der Erinnerungsarbeit konzentriert. In diesem Sinne scheinen sie, wenn wir das Gedicht und den Aufsatz gegenüberstellen, auf Sicht- und Sprechweise von Auschwitz hinzuweisen, die dem Leser die dieser Bewegung innewohnenden Spannungen vermitteln, welche diese ethische Aufgabe nicht vernachlässigen, und die individuelle und kollektive Haltung gegenüber dem Problem der Zeugnislücke und dem, was vom Konzentrationslager noch übrig bleibt, kritisch erwägt.
