Von Lust und Verlust beim Übersetzen deutscher komischer Versliteratur
- Lucrarea de faţă tratează aspecte specifice ale traducerii de lirică umoristică precum redarea conţinutului comic, re-crearea particularităţilor formale ale originalului, aplicarea de diferite strategii în traducerea jocurilor de cuvinte etc. În acelaşi timp, articolul doreşte să atragă atenţia cititorilor şi traducătorilor asupra acestui gen literar oarecum neglijat, care însă dovedeşte cu prisosinţă, în pofida prejudecăţii larg răspândite despre lipsa de umor a germanilor, că aceştia excelează în comic verbal, cel mai adesea intraductibil.
- The present paper dwells upon specific aspects of translating humorous verse such as rendering the comic meanings, re-creating the formal particularities of the original, translating puns by means of various strategies etc. At the same time, the article aims at bringing to the attention of readers and translators this rather neglected genre of the German literature, which proves - contrary to the general prejudice about Germans lacking a sense of humour - that they actually excel in verbal (most often untranslatable) comic.
