On Atrypanius cretiger (White, 1855) and Atrypanius punctatellus (Bates, 1872) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lamiinae: Acanthocinini)
- Atrypanius punctatellus (Bates, 1872) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lamiinae: Acanthocinini) is formally proposed as a junior synonym of A. cretiger (White, 1855). Atrypanius cretiger is redescribed and the type locality is confirmed as Colombia.
