Für die Assoziation, die durch Aufnahmen aus dem Rothaargebirge, dem Taunus und dem Schwarzwald belegt wird, wird der Name Luzulo luzuloidis-Thelypteridetum limbospermae gewählt.
N2  - Thelypteris limbosperma is proved to be a character species of a community typically found on forest fringes and in clearings on acidic soils in the cool, humid climate of the higher Mittelgebirge (central German mountains). The community, documented by relevés from the Rothaargebirge, Taunus and Schwarzwald, is named Luzulo luzuloidis-Thelypteridetum limbospermae.
