N2  - Am Unterlauf größerer Flüsse, in küstenbegleitenden Schwemmlandebenen und in grundwasserbeeinflussten Rodungsinseln der montanen extrazonalen Buchenstufe wachsen in Griechenland wechselnasse Wiesen, deren Vorkommen bislang nur vermutet, aber für das griechische Festland noch nicht durch Vegetationstabellen belegt worden war. Von folgenden Syntaxa werden Aufnahmen aus Thessalien mitgeteilt und kommentiert: Molinio-Arrhenatheretea R. Tüxen 1937, Trifolio-Hordeetalia Horvatic 1963, Trifolion resupinati Micevski 1957, Cynosuro-Caricetum hirtae Micevski 1957, Alopecuro-Ranunculetum marginati Zeidler 1954, Narcisso tazettae-Caricetum distantis (Economidou 1969) ass. Nova, Plantaginetea majoris R. Tüxen et Preising ex R. Tüxen 1950 (s.l., incl. Agrostietea stoloniferae Oberdorfer et Müller ex Görs 1968), Agrostietalia stoloniferae Oberdorfer ex Oberdorfer et al. 1967, Beckmannion eruciformis Soö 1933 und Scirpo-Alopecuretum cretici Micevski 1957.
N2  - Wet grassland communities, inundated during winter and spring, occur in the Greek lowland locally along permanent rivers or on coastal flood-plains, but as well in higher altitudes on beechwood-clearings, which are influenced by high ground-water level. Releve tables, originating from Thessaly, and some synsystematical comments are given, concerning the following syntaxa, which hitherto had not been documented for the Greek mainland: Molinio-Arrhenatheretea R. Tüxen 1937, Trifolio-Hordeetalia Horvatic 1963, Trifolion resupinati Micevski 1957, Cynosuro-Caricetum hirtae Micevski 1957, Alopecuro-Ranunculetum marginati Zeidler 1954, Narcisso tazettae-Caricetum distantis (Economidou 1969) ass. Nova,  Plantaginetea majoris R. Tüxen et Preising ex R. Tüxen 1950 (s.l., incl. Agrostietea stoloniferae Oberdorfer et Müller ex Görs 1968), Agrostietalia stoloniferae Oberdorfer ex Oberdorfer et al. 1967, Beckmannion eruciformis Soö 1933 and Scirpo-Alopecuretum cretici Micevski 1957.
