N2  - The paper presents some data on the Caricion kobomugi communities at a locality south of the city of Wonsan, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Two plant communities, namely the Ixeridetum repentis and the Carex pumila-community were described and their syntaxonomy and nomenclature briefly discussed.
