N2  - En el artículo se describe la construcción de esta instalación singular, destinada a utilizar la combustión de las basuras de la ciudad para fines calefactores y productores de energía eléctrica al servicio de la propia ciudad. Se explica igualmente el proceso seguido para el aprovechamiento integral de residuos cuyo almacenamiento constituía, antiguamente, un verdadero problema en las grandes urbes. El edificio se ha realizado a base de hormigón armado, ladrillo refractario y vigas metálicas en la cubierta.
N2  - Cet article décrit la construction de cette originale installation qui utilise la combustion des ordures ménagères de la viile pour le chauffage et la production d'énergie électrique au propre service de la ville. Le processus suivi pour l'utilisation complète des déchets, dont l'emmagasinage constituait jadis un véritable problème pour les grandes villes, est également décrit. L'édifice a été réalisé à base de béton armé, brique réfractaire et poutres métalliques pour la toiture.
N2  - The plant described serves to incinerate the city refuse, and the energy generated is utilised for heating and electricity production, which is consumed by the city of Frankfurt. The article describes the process of total calcination of the refuse. Previously, the storing of this refuse was a severe municipal problem. This plant is made of reinforced concrete, refractory bricks and metal beams for the roof structure.
N2  - Der Artikel enthält die Baubeschreibung dieser neuartigen Anlage, wo die durch Müllverbrennung entstehende Energie zu Heizzwecken und zur Stromerzeugung eingesetzt wird. Desgleichen wird auch das hier eingesetzte Verfahren zur vollen Nutzung der Rückstande erläutert, deren Lagerung früher ein grosses Problem in den Grossstädten darstellte. Das Gebäude besteht aus Stahlbeton, feuerfesten Ziegelsteinen und Metallträgern in der Dachkonstruktion.
