N2  - Es wird über das Vorkommen von acidophilen, schafschwingelreichen Magerrasen in Hessen berichtet. Derartige Magerrasen mit Sand-Grasnelke (Armeria elongata) sind auf die Sandgebiete des Rhein-Main-Tieflandes beschränkt, wo sie oft eine Folgegesellschaft von Silbergras-Rasen darstellen. Acidophile, schafschwingelreiche Magerrasen ohne Sand-Grasnelke scheinen in Hessen auf nährstoffarmen Gesteinen, insbesondere Buntsandstein recht verbreitet zu sein. Dieser bisher wenig beachtete Magerrasentyp ist vor allem an Wegböschungen anzutreffen. Mit 12 Vegetationsaunahmen aus Osthessen wird die Gesellschaft dokumentiert. Die nomenklatorische Situation der für derartige Syntaxa verwandten Assoziationsnamen wird referiert. Lectotypisierungen von Festuco ovinae-Thymetum angustifolii Tüxen 1928 ex Tüxen 1937, Diantho-Festucetum tenuifoliae Knapp 1978, Polytricho-Festucetum tenuifoliae Knapp 1978 und Plantagini-Festucion Passarge 1964 werden vorgenommen. Als korrekter Verbandsname für die acidophilen Sandrasen kann das Armerion elongatae Pötsch 1962 gelten.
N2  - Nutrition-poor grassland with Festuca ovina s. l. occurs in several areas of Hesse. In the Rhine-Main-lowlands Thrift (Armeria elongata) is found in this type of grassland, often in succession to Corynephorus canescens-dominated turf. Acidophilous nutrition-poor grassland without Thrift seems to occur in all areas of Hesse with nutrition-poor, non calcareous soils, particularly in areas of "Buntsandstein". This vegetation type is mainly found on the banks of tracks. 12 releves are presented from eastern Hesse. The nomenclature of this kind of nutrition-poor grassland is discussed. Lectotypes are chosen for Festuco ovinae-Thymetum angustifolii Tüxen 1928 ex Tüxen 1937, Diantho-Festucetum tenuifoliae Knapp 1978, Polytricho-Festucetum tenuifoliae Knapp 1978 and Plantagini-Festucion Passarge 1964. The name Armerion elongatae Pötsch 1962 may be correctly applied to acidophilous nutrition-poor grassland.
