N2  - Es wird über die Untersuchung der Städte Rovinj und Krk (Jugoslawien) im August/September 1987 berichtet. Auf der Grundlage von rund 130 pflanzensoziologischen Aufnahmen wird ein Überblick über die Flora und Vegetation, insbesondere der älteren Stadtteile, vermittelt. Ferner erfolgte eine Kartierung der Nutzungs- bzw. Biotoptypen. Von den 178 in Rovinj und Krk gefundenen Sippen kommen mehr als 50% (90 Sippen) auch im Stadtbereich von Bonn-Bad Godesberg vor (16 qkm-Untersuchungsgebiet der Bundesforschungsanstalt für Naturschutz und Landschaftsökologie, Arbeitsgruppe Siedlungsökologie), aber offenbar sind nur zwei Pflanzengesellschaften identisch. Die generelle klimatische Einstufung mitteleuropäischer Städte als "Wärmeinseln" ist offensichtlich für den mediterranen Raum nicht gültig. Zur heißen Sommerzeit wurden gerade in Altstadtbereichen noch viele groß- und breitblättrige Arten meist an halbschattigen und (mäßig) frischen Standorten gefunden. Vorschläge zum Naturschutz im besiedelten Bereich von Rovinj und Krk werden gemacht.
N2  - A survey of the towns Rovinj and Krk (Yugoslavia) is described from August and September 1987. Based on about 130 phytosociological releves, an overview of the flora and vegetation is given especially of the old town centres, as well as a map of urban land-use types. 178 species found in Rovinj and Krk, more than 50% (90 species) are also recorded in the urban area of Bonn-Bad Godesberg (on the 16 km² study area of the Federal Research Centre for Nature Conservation and Landscape Ecology, Urban Ecology Working Group), but only two plant communities appear to be identical. Central-European cities are generally viewed climatically as "heat islands", but this obviously does not apply to the Mediterranean area. During the hot summer period many species with broad and soft leaves are found especially in old town centres, mostly on semi-shady and quite moist sites. Suggestions for nature conservation in the urban areas of Rovinj and Krk are given.
