Möglichkeiten für die synsystematische Fassung dieser Wälder werden aufgezeigt. Die Vor- und Nachteile regelmäßig verteilter Probeflächen bei der pflanzensoziologischen Aufnahme von Gebirgswäldern werden diskutiert.
N2  - Structure, floristic composition and site conditions of the forests in the high montane and subalpine belts of the Mangfallgebirge - a part of the Bavarian Calcareous Alps - are described. The position of these forests in the phytosociological system of plant communities is suggested. The advantages and disadvantages of regularly dispersed sample plots in the performance of phytosociological studies in mountain forests are discussed.
