Chenopodium album – high morphological diversity among hexaploid plants in Frankfurt
- Hexaploides Chenopodium album ist in Frankfurt am Main (Hessen) häufig. Die Pflanzen unterscheiden sich deutlich in Blütezeit, Höhe, Verzweigung, Blattform und Blütenstandsmorphologie, wobei oft morphologisch einheitliche Pflanzen benachbart wachsen. Die Merkmale variieren unabhängig voneinander und es erscheint nicht sinnvoll, morphologische Gruppen taxonomisch zu fassen.
- Hexaploid Chenopodium album is common in Frankfurt/Main (Hesse). Plants differ in blooming time, height, branching pattern, leaf shape and inflorescence morphology. Morphologically similar plants often grow together. Characteristics vary independently of each other and it is inappropriate to recognize them as taxonomic units.
