- Die Autorbezeichnung "Perr. & Song." ist zu vermeiden. Das erste Akronym generiert eine Autorenverwechslung, das zweite ist kein Element des internationalen Standards der nomenklatorischen Autorbezeichnungen nach Brummitt & Powell (1992). Keine aktuelle deutsche Exkursionsflora oder Standardliste benutzt die korrekte Standardbezeichnung E. P. Perrier & Songeon. Ausschließlich diese soll in entsprechende Datenbanken eingepflegt und in gedruckten Neuauflagen benutzt werden.
- The nomenclatural author notation "Perr. & Song.", in Central European floristics connected to, e.g., the group of stemless gentians, is incorrect and misleading both in form and content. The former element constitutes a mistake in authors, the latter does not comply with the international standard of author names and their abbreviations (Brummitt & Powell 1992). The correct, standardised notation E. P. Perrier & Songeon which is solely to be used in relevant electronic databases and new print editions, is applied to the actual pair of authors in none of the contemporary German floras and checklists.
