- Romalina subfraxinea Nyl. Var. Confirmata (Nyl.) N. Stevens ist reported as new to the New World from the Venezuelan Andes. Thus far this variety was knowm only from Australia, New Caledonia and Indian Ocean. It has cryptochlorophaeic acid as chemical compound. Comments about ecology and morphology are given.
