Protonemablätter von Tetraphis pellucida
- Die Protonemablätter von Tetraphis pellucida werden beschrieben und illustriert. Sie ähneln Farn-Prothallium und werden in Literatur und Moosflora weitgehend ignoriert. Bruträume wurden erstmals an den Rändern von Protonemablätter beobachtet. Die besser bekannte Präsenz von Protonemablätter der Gattung Tetrodontium zeigt, dass diese Charakteristik wesentlich für Tetraphididae ist.
- The protonemal leaves of Tetraphis pellucida are described and illustrated. They look like a fern prothallium and are widely ignored in moss floras and textbooks. Brood bodies were observed for the first time at the margins of the protonemal leaves, which resemble those of the gemmae cups. The better known presence of protonemal leaves in the genus Tetrodontium shows that this character is fundamental for the Tetraphididae.
