Intersecções de letramento literário em língua materna e língua estrangeira

  • A arte tem lugar fundamental para pensarmos cultura e sociedade. Assim, a literatura é tratada aqui como discurso social que pode ser debatido. Discutiremos o ensino de Literatura em LE em diálogo com práticas de Letramento literário em Língua Materna (LM). Para tanto, abandona-se a abordagem centrada na competência linguística do aluno em LE. Inicia-se pela ativação/construção de um repertório prévio em LM, que será base para a leitura em LE. Dessa forma, é possível preservar a potencialidade da leitura de literatura, entendida como medium de construção de um universo histórico-cultural e posicionamento crítico do sujeito. Como exemplo, apresentaremos uma proposta de aproximação pedagógica e intercultural com romances do gênero discursivo 'Bildungsroman'.
  • Art is a fundamental tool to think culture and society. In this article, Literature is understood as a social discourse, which therefore can be debated. This vision is particularly important when we talk about teaching Literature in Foreign Language (FL), considering that diverse contexts of a language might be added at the interpretative process. Here, the teaching of literature in FL is discussed in relation to practices of literary literacy in Native Language (NL). For this purpose, the approach of studies which are focused on the student's language ability in FL are left behind. Instead, this article suggests a different approach, initiated by activation/construction of a previous repertory in a NL, which will offer support for the reading in foreign language. Thereby it is possible to preserve the potential of literature's reading, that is understood in this article as a medium of construction of a historical-cultural universe and someone's critical position. As an example, we present a proposal of pedagogical and intercultural approximation with novels of discursive genre 'Bildungsroman'.
