Leptolejeunea subdentata Schiffn. ex Herzog, has been reported as new to Meghalaya from Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. The paper provides its detailed taxonomic description with the note on their status and distribution.
Scanning Electron Microscopy of some selected south Indian taxa of Marchantiales (Bryophyta: Hepaticae) (2013)

Scanning electron microscope analyses of sporoderm of 7 species of 3 genera of Marchantiales are presented in this study. In the studied species, sporoderm exhibit a broad range of morphology and have taxonomic specificity. The structurally rigid sporoderms have specific sculpturing and characteristic patterning. Peculiar architectures are found in different taxa, which revealed that and stable architectures may be present within an order. Sporoderms usually have specific surface markings which are often one of the best parameters to identify any species.
Moss Flora of Palni Hills (Tamil Nadu), India- A Checklist (2011)

The current investigations provide the current status of mosses of Palni hills. The occurrence of 54 taxa of mosses has been recorded in Kodaikanal and neighbouring areas. Of which 12 taxa are new to the Palni hills which indicates the potential of this region in nourishing the bryo-diversity
Endemism in Liverworts of Western Ghats and their present status (2011)

The status of endemic liverworts in the Western Ghats ‘one of the major Hot spots’ of plant biodiversity have been discussed in the present paper. The study is based on the evaluation of type and authentic specimens available in Lucknow University Hepatic Herbarium (LWU) as well as those in several international herbaria including NICH, NY, JE, FH, G and excicatae of the world and published data. An overall assessment and evaluation revealed the presence of a total of 54 liverworts endemic to Western Ghats in India. The paper also discusses those species which were earlier known as endemic to the area but now show an extended range of distribution elsewhere and also the species earlier introduced from Western Ghats but now changed their status.
Status of Mosses in Nilgiri Hills (Western Ghats), India (2011)

The present paper deals with the current status of mosses of Nilgiri hills. There is total of 157 taxa reported so far on the basis of all earlier records. In which 22 taxa new to Nilgiri hills. The socio-ecology of mosses of the Nilgiri hills is also discussed in the text.
The Liverwort and Hornwort flora of Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary, Jorhat (Assam) (2012)

A survey based, preliminary, alphabetically arranged checklist of hepatics of Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary of Assam is presented including 17 taxa reported for the first time in the sanctuary area. Relevant details of all the 27 species along with their distribution are also provided.
