Four new species and one new genus of Lamiinae (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) are described: Nyssodrysilla humeralis new species (Acanthocinini), from Paraguay; Atrypanius schmidi new species (Acanthocinini), from Paraguay; Chicanatonus hovorei, new genus, new species (Acanthocinini), from Mexico; Euryestola transversa new species (Calliini), from Ecuador. The following new combinations are established: Leiopus convexus Melzer, 1934 is transferred to Hyperplatys Haldeman, 1847; Leiopus floccidus Erichson, 1847 is transferred to Anisopodus White, 1855; Leiopus marcelamonneae Audureau and Demez, 2015 and L. pleuriticus White, 1855 are transferred to Atrypanius Bates, 1864. Leiopus histrionicus Gistel, 1848 is newly synonymized with Eutrypanus dorsalis (Germar, 1823). The formal transference of Leiopus soricinus Fairmaire and Germain, 1859 to Lepturges (Lepturges) Bates, 1863, forgotten in recent catalogs and checklists, is reinforced. Atrypanius marcelamonneae new combination is excluded from the Paraguayan fauna. Euryestola cribrata (Bates, 1881) is newly recorded from Panama. Keys to species of Nyssodrysilla Gilmour, 1962 and Euryestola Breuning, 1940 are provided. The occurrence of Colobothea naevia Bates, 1865 in Ecuador is confirmed. Colobothea olivencia Bates, 1865 is newly recorded from Ecuador and from the Brazilian states of Pará and Ceará; variation in the pubescent pattern on the pronotum of this species is reported. New species, synonymy, new records, and taxonomic notes in American Cerambycidae (Coleoptera)
(2022)
Cotyclytus parumnotatus (Zajciw, 1963) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae: Clytini) is revalidated and a neotype is designated. Anatinomma Bates, 1892 (Cerambycinae: Hesperophanini) is reported as a neuter gender and two species-group names are corrected: A. brevicorne Fisher, 1944 and A. insulare Chemsak and Linsley, 1964; the latter is newly recorded from Honduras. Pachymerola vitticollis Bates, 1892 (Cerambycinae: Hyboderini) is recorded for the first time in the Mexican state of Jalisco, and chromatic variation is reported. Smodicum dinellii Bruch, 1911 (Cerambycinae: Smodicini) is recorded from Bolivia; and Corcovado bezarki Martins and Galileo, 2008 (Lamiinae: Hemilophini) is recorded from Belize. Parhippopsis Breuning, 1973 (Lamiinae: Agapanthiini) is synonymized with Rosalba Thomson, 1864 (Lamiinae: Apomecynini) and Rosalba columbiana (Breuning, 1973) is a new combination. Neocompsa flavoquadripunctata Botero and Santos-Silva, new species (Cerambycinae: Neoibidionini), is described from Mexico (Jalisco); Temnopis spiculata Botero and Santos-Silva, new species (Cerambycinae: Oemini) is described from Bolivia (Beni); Trichohippopsis basilaris Botero and Santos-Silva, new species (Lamiinae: Agapanthiini) and Anobrium bicolor Botero and Santos-Silva, new species (Lamiinae: Pteropliini) are described from French Guiana.

Two new species of Mexican Clytini (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Cerambycinae) are described: Trichoxys giesberti Botero, Santos-Silva and Wappes (also added to a recent key) and Megacyllene giesberti Botero, Santos-Silva and Wappes. The geographical distribution of Megacyllene melanaspis (Chevrolat, 1862) is expanded to include Bolivia, new country record, and compared to the similar and sympatric Megacyllene proxima (Laporte and Gory, 1841); Megacyllene asteca (Chevrolat, 1860) is proposed as a new combination for the previous Plagionotus asteca, and Amyipunga armaticollis (Zajciw, 1964) is redescribed to correct previous errors regarding it in the literature. Additionally, characters to help separate it from the similar species Amyipunga moritzii (Thomson, 1861) are provided.
A comprehensive revision of the Subfamily Parandrinae (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) from the Afrotropical Region is presented. Two new genera are described: Adlbauerandra and Meridiandra. The known species from the Afrotropical Region are excluded from Parandra Latreille, 1802, which resulted in the following new combinations: Acutandra beninensis (Murray, 1862), A. comoriana (Fairmaire, 1895), A. gabonica (Thomson, 1858), Adlbauerandra morettoi (Adlbauer, 2004) and Meridiandra capicola (Thomson, 1861). Eighteen new species are described: Acutandra amieti, A. barclayi, A. camiadei, A. dasilvai, A. delahayei, A. gaetani, A. garnieri, A. grobbelaarae, A. hugoi, A. jolyi, A. leduci, A. leonardi, A. lucasi, A. noellae, A. oremansi, A. plenevauxae, A. quentini, and A. vingerhoedti. The species Parandra comoriana Fairmaire, 1895 is revalidated and a lectotype is designated. Parandra beninensis Murray, 1862 and Parandra conradti Kolbe, 1893 are revalidated. A lectotype is designated for Parandra gabonica Thomson, 1858 as the designation by Quentin and Villiers (1975) was considered as invalid. Keys are presented to separate genera and all species of African Parandrinae from each other. Illustrations are provided for all the species including many special characters used in the keys.
Five new species of Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) from Peru and Bolivia, and two new records for Peru
(2014)
The following four new species of Cerambycidae are described from Bolivia: Chrysoprasis imitatrix (Heteropsini); Carneades vigneaulti (Colobotheini); Colobothea larriveei (Colobotheini); Colobothea boliviana (Colobotheini). Esthlogena (Pseudotaxia) bella (Pteropliini) is described from Peru. A key to species of Carneades Bates, 1869 is provided. The other new species are included in previously published keys. Additionally, two new country records are reported for the fauna of Peru.
Two new species and a new genus of Cerambycidae are described from South America: Cotyclytus arriagadai sp. nov., from Bolivia; and Lembu dieguezi, gen. nov., sp. nov., from Paraguay. Orthomegas irroratus (Lameere, 1915) is redescribed, based on the second and third known specimens, and its distribution is expanded to include Ecuador. The male of Jamesia fuscofasciata Dillon and Dillon, 1952 is described and illustrated for the fi rst time, and the distribution of the species is expanded to Peru. Thirty-two new country records (twelve for Paraguay, fi fteen for Peru, two for Ecuador, three for Bolivia) and one new province record (Argentina) are presented.
