Cardiac sarcoidosis is a rare immunologic disease causing heart involvement in 5% of patients. Cardiac sarcoidosis may manifest clinically as a cardiomyopathy with impaired left ventricular (LV) function or as tachyarrhythmias or bradyarrhythmias. On autopsy, cardiac granulomas can be found in approximately 25% of patients.
