We present a simple model of personal finance in which an incumbent lender has an information advantage vis-a-vis both potential competitors and households. In order to extract more consumer surplus, a lender with sufficient market power may engage in "irresponsible"lending, approving credit even if this is knowingly against a household’s best interest. Unless rival lenders are equally well informed, competition may reduce welfare. This holds, in particular, if less informed rivals can free ride on the incumbent’s superior screening ability.
We Will Be Citizens: The Notion of Citizenship in Tony Kushner's Angels in America and Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart". Literatur) für die Debatten deutlich: "Citizenship is not only to be understood as a political issue, but also as socially and materially constructed and culturally coded. If we understand culture as the ways of doing things and of organizing society, then the negotiations of citizenship take place, among other ways, through culture" (5). S. 69).

Crystals of the title compound, C12H8N2·C7H8O2, were obtained during cocrystallization experiments of a compound with two hydrogen-bond donors (2-hydroxybenzyl alcohol) with another compound containing two hydrogen-bond acceptors (phenanthroline). Unexpectedly, the two molecules do not form dimers with two O—H ... N hydrogen bonds connecting the two molecules. However, one of the hydroxy groups forms a bifurcated hydrogen bond to both phenanthroline N atoms, whereas the other hydroxy group forms an O—H ... O hydrogen bond to a symmetry-equivalent 2-hydroxybenzyl alcohol molecule. In addition, the crystal packing is stabilized by Pi – Pi interactions between the two phenanthroline ring systems, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.570 Å.
