• Die Gattung Aspilota FOERSTER ist als solche verhältnismäßig leicht zu erkennen. Die Bestimmung der Arten hingegen stößt auf ungewöhnliche Schwierigkeiten. Es ist fast sicher, daß erst ein kleiner Teil der existierenden Arten entdeckt ist. Der vorliegende Beitrag hat jedoch nicht das Ziel, neue Arten zu beschreiben, sondern stellt einen ersten Versuch dar, wenigstens den Großteil der schon bekannten Spezies in ein zusammenfassendes taxonomisches System zu bringen.
• The palearctie species of the genus Aspilota FOERSTER (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Alysiinae) are revised. 58 palearctic species and one more from Hawaii are summarized taxonomically: Provisional keys for identification of 4 sections, 10 species groups, and 59 species are proposed. 55 species are redescribed, 4. further species are treated according to the literature. 8 species could not be taken in consideration: they are listed with their names only. The introdu,etion treats among others the most important morphological characters, and presents a summary of the available data on rearing results of palearctlC and nearctic species. In most cases the true hosts are expected to he species of the family Phoridae (Diptera).
