• Im Naturschutzgebiet Marktal und Morast, das sich im mittleren Teil des Thüringer Waldes befindet, konnten 40 Moosgesellschaften nachgewiesen werden, die auf Silikatgestein, Mineralboden, der Borke lebender Bäume, morschem Holz und Rohhumus gedeihen. Für das Naturschutzgebiet sind die Moosverbände Grimmio-Hypnion, Isothecion myosuroidis, Diplophyllion albicantis, Dicranellion heteromallae, Nowellion curvifoliae, Tetraphidion pellucidae, Bryo-Brachythecion, Ctenidion mollusci und Racomitrion acicularis charakteristisch. Die synsystematische Stellung der Gesellschaften wird dargestellt, eine Liste mit 227 Arten vermittelt den aktuellen Moosbestand.
• From the reserve Marktal and Morast, situated in the middle part of the Thuringian forest, 40 bryophyte communities are identified from silicate rocks, mineral soil, living bark, rotten wood and raw humus. Characteristic of the nature reserve are communities of the alliances Grimmio-Hypnion, Isothecion myosuroidis, Diplophyllion albicantis, Dicranellion heteromallae, Nowellion curvifoliae, Tetraphidion pellucidae, Bryo-Brachythecion, Dicrano-Hypnion, Ctenidion mollusci and Racomitnon acicularis. A syn-systematic survey of these bryophyte communities is given, along with a list of 227 bryophyte species representing the moss species present.
