Based on (2712.4±14.3)×106 ψ(3686) events, we investigate four hadronic decay modes of the P-wave charmonium spin-singlet state hc(1P1)→h+h−π0/η (h=π or K) via the process ψ(3686)→π0hc at BESIII. The hc→π+π−π0 decay is observed with a significance of 9.6σ after taking into account systematic uncertainties. Evidences for hc→K+K−π0 and hc→K+K−η are found with significances of 3.5σ and 3.3σ, respectively, after considering the systematic uncertainties. The branching fractions of these decays are measured to be B(hc→π+π−π0)=(1.36±0.16±0.14)×10−3, B(hc→K+K−π0)=(3.26±0.84±0.36)×10−4, and B(hc→K+K−η)=(3.13±1.08±0.38)×10−4, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. No significant signal of hc→π+π−η is found, and the upper limit of its decay branching fraction is determined to be B(hc→π+π−η)<4.0×10−4 at 90% confidence level.
We report a measurement of the cross section for the process e+e−→π+π−J/ψ around the X(3872) mass in search for the direct formation of e+e−→X(3872) through the two-photon fusion process. No enhancement of the cross section is observed at the X(3872) peak and an upper limit on the product of electronic width and branching fraction of X(3872)→π+π−J/ψ is determined to be Γee×B(X(3872)→π+π−J/ψ)<7.5×10−3eV at 90% confidence level under an assumption of total width of 1.19±0.21 MeV. This is an improvement of a factor of about 17 compared to the previous limit. Furthermore, using the latest result of B(X(3872)→π+π−J/ψ), an upper limit on the electronic width Γee of X(3872) is obtained to be <0.32eV at the 90% confidence level.
Based on (2712.4±14.3)×106 𝑒+𝑒−→𝜓(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII Collider, we report the first evidence of 𝜒𝑐0→Λ¯Λ𝜙 decays and the first observation of 𝜒𝑐1,2→Λ¯Λ𝜙 decays, with significances of 4.1𝜎, 11.3𝜎 and 13.0𝜎, respectively. The decay branching fractions of 𝜒𝑐0,1,2→Λ¯Λ𝜙 are measured to be (2.99±1.24±0.19)×10−5, (6.01±0.90±0.40)×10−5, and (7.13±0.81±0.36)×10−5, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. No obvious enhancement near the Λ¯Λ production threshold or excited Λ state is found in the Λ𝜙 (or ¯Λ𝜙) system.
Six C-even states, denoted as X, with quantum numbers JPC=0−+, 1±+, or 2±+, are searched for via the e+e−→γD±sD∗∓s process using (1667.39±8.84) pb−1 of e+e− collision data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring at center-of-mass energy of s√=(4681.92±0.30) MeV. No statistically significant signal is observed in the mass range from 4.08 to 4.32 GeV/c2. The upper limits of σ[e+e−→γX]⋅B[X→D±sD∗∓s] at a 90% confidence level are determined.

Using e+e− collision data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider at center-of-mass energies between 3.510 and 4.914GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 25 fb−1, we measure the Born cross sections for the process e+e−→K−Ξ¯+Λ/Σ0 at thirty-five energy points with a partial-reconstruction strategy. By fitting the dressed cross sections of e+e−→K−Ξ¯+Λ/Σ0, evidence for ψ(4160)→K−Ξ¯+Λ is found for the first time with a significance of 4.4σ, including systematic uncertainties. No evidence for other possible resonances is found. In addition, the products of electronic partial width and branching fraction for all assumed resonances decaying into K−Ξ¯+Λ/Σ0 are determined.
Measurement of e⁺e⁻ → ΛΛ¯η from 3.5106 to 4.6988 GeV and study of ΛΛ¯ mass threshold enhancement
(2022)
Using data samples with a total integrated luminosity of approximately 18 fb−1 collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII, the process e+e−→ΛΛ¯η is studied at center-of-mass energies between 3.5106 and 4.6988 GeV. The Born cross section for the process e+e−→ΛΛ¯η is measured. No significant structure is observed in the Born cross section line shape. An enhancement near the ΛΛ¯ mass threshold is observed for the first time in the process. The structure can be described by an S-wave Breit-Wigner function. Neglecting contribution of excited Λ states and potential interferences, the mass and width are determined to be (2356±7±17) MeV/c2 and (304±28±54) MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic.

Using (27.12±0.14)×108 ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector, we present the first observation of the decays χcJ→ΛΛ¯ω, where J=0,1,2, with statistical significances of 11.7σ,11.2σ, and 11.8σ. The branching fractions of these decays are determined to be B(χc0→ΛΛ¯ω)=(2.37±0.22±0.23)×10−4, B(χc1→ΛΛ¯ω)=(1.01±0.10±0.11)×10−4, and B(χc2→ΛΛ¯ω)=(1.40±0.13±0.17)×10−4, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. We observe no clear intermediate structures.
Based on a data sample of 10 billion J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector, improved measurements of the Dalitz decays η/η′→γe+e− are performed, where the η and η′ are produced through the radiative decays J/ψ→γη/η′. The branching fractions of η→γe+e− and η′→γe+e− are measured to be (7.07±0.05±0.23)×10−3 and (4.83±0.07±0.14)×10−4, respectively. Within the single pole model, the parameter of electromagnetic transition form factor for η→γe+e− is determined to be Λη=(0.749±0.027±0.007) GeV/c2. Within the multi-pole model, we extract the electromagnetic transition form factors for η′→γe+e− to be Λη′=(0.802±0.007±0.008) GeV/c2 and γη′=(0.113±0.010±0.002) GeV/c2. The results are consistent with both theoretical predictions and previous measurements. The characteristic sizes of the interaction regions for the η and η′ are calculated to be (0.645±0.023±0.007) fm and (0.596±0.005±0.006) fm, respectively. In addition, we search for the dark photon in η/η′→γe+e−, and the upper limits of the branching fractions as a function of the dark photon are given at 90\% confidence level.
Using a data sample of (1.0087±0.0044)×1010 𝐽/𝜓 decay events collected with the BESIII detector at the center-of-mass energy of √𝑠=3.097 GeV, we present a search for the hyperon semileptonic decay Ξ0→Σ−𝑒+𝜈𝑒 which violates the Δ𝑆=Δ𝑄 rule. No significant signal is observed, and the upper limit on the branching fraction ℬ(Ξ0→Σ−𝑒+𝜈𝑒) is determined to be 1.6×10−4 at the 90% confidence level. This result improves the previous upper limit result by about one order of magnitude.
Using 15.6 fb−1 of e+e− collision data collected at twenty-four center-of-mass energies from 4.0 to 4.6 GeV with the BESIII detector, the helicity amplitudes of the process e+e− → π+π−ω are analyzed for the first time. Born cross section measurements of two-body intermediate resonance states with statistical significance greater than 5σ are presented, such as f0(500), f0(980), f2(1270), f0(1370), b1(1235)±, and ρ(1450)±. In addition, evidence of a resonance state in e+e− → π+π−ω production is found. The mass of this state obtained by line shape fitting is about 4.2 GeV/c2, which is consistent with the production of ψ(4160) or Y(4220).

A light scalar X0 or vector X1 particles have been introduced as a possible explanation for the (g−2)μ anomaly and dark matter phenomena.
Using (8.998±0.039)×109 $\jpsi$ events collected by the BESIII detector, we search for a light muon philic scalar X0 or vector X1 in the processes J/ψ→μ+μ−X0,1 with X0,1 invisible decays. No obvious signal is found, and the upper limits on the coupling g′0,1 between the muon and the X0,1 particles are set to be between 1.1×10−3 and 1.0×10−2 for the X0,1 mass in the range of 1<M(X0,1)<1000 MeV/c2 at 90% confidence level.
Using 9.0 fb−1 of e+e− collision data collected at center-of-mass energies from 4.178 to 4.278 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we perform the first search for the radiative transition χc1(3872)→γψ2(3823). No χc1(3872)→γψ2(3823) signal is observed. The upper limit on the ratio of branching fractions B(χc1(3872)→γψ2(3823),ψ2(3823)→γχc1)/B(χc1(3872)→π+π−J/ψ) is set as 0.075 at the 90\% confidence level. Our result contradicts theoretical predictions under the assumption that the χc1(3872) is the pure charmonium state χc1(2P).
Based on e+e− collision samples corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.4 fb−1 collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.6GeV and 4.7GeV, a partial wave analysis of the charmed baryon hadronic decay Λ+c→Λπ+π0 is performed, and the decays Λ+c→Λρ(770)+ and Λ+c→Σ(1385)π are studied for the first time. Making use of the world-average branching fraction B(Λ+c→Λπ+π0), their branching fractions are determined to be B(Λ+c→Λρ(770)+)=B(Λ+c→Σ(1385)+π0)=B(Λ+c→Σ(1385)0π+)=(4.06±0.30±0.35±0.23)×10−2,(5.86±0.49±0.52±0.35)×10−3,(6.47±0.59±0.66±0.38)×10−3, where the first uncertainties are statistical, the second are systematic, and the third are from the uncertainties of the branching fractions B(Λ+c→Λπ+π0) and B(Σ(1385)→Λπ). In addition, %according to amplitudes determined from the partial wave analysis, the decay asymmetry parameters are measured to be αΛρ(770)+=−0.763±0.053±0.039, αΣ(1385)+π0=−0.917±0.069±0.046, and αΣ(1385)0π+=−0.789±0.098±0.056.

No significant signal is observed, and the upper limit on the branching fraction B(Ξ0→Σ−e+νe) is determined to be 1.6×10−4 at the 90% confidence level. This result improves the previous upper limit result by about one order of magnitude.
Observation of ηc(2S) → 3(π⁺π⁻) and measurements of χcJ → 3(π⁺π⁻) in ψ(3686) radiative transitions
(2022)
The hadronic decay ηc(2S)→3(π+π−) is observed with a statistical significance of 9.3 standard deviations using (448.1±2.9)×106 ψ(3686) events collected by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The measured mass and width of ηc(2S) are (3643.4±2.3(stat.)±4.4(syst.)) MeV/c2 and (19.8±3.9(stat.)±3.1(syst.)) MeV, respectively, which are consistent with the world average values within two standard deviations. The product branching fraction B[ψ(3686) → γηc(2S)]×B[ηc(2S)→3(π+π−)] is measured to be (9.2±1.0(stat.)±0.9(syst.))×10−6. Using B[ψ(3686)→γηc(2S)]=(7.0+3.4−2.5)×10−4, we obtain B[ηc(2S)→3(π+π−)]=(1.31±0.15(stat.)±0.13(syst.)(+0.64−0.47)(extr))×10−2, where the third uncertainty is from B[ψ(3686)→γηc(2S)]. We also measure the χcJ→3(π+π−) (J=0,1,2) decays via ψ(3686)→γχcJ transitions. The branching fractions are B[χc0→3(π+π−)]=(2.080±0.006(stat.)±0.068(syst.))×10−2, B[χc1→3(π+π−)]=(1.092±0.004(stat.)±0.035(syst.))×10−2, and B[χc2→3(π+π−)]=(1.565±0.005(stat.)±0.048(syst.))×10−2.
A search for a massless dark photon γ′ is conducted using 4.5 fb−1 of e+e− collision data collected at center-of-mass energies between 4.600 and 4.699 GeV with the BESIII detector at BEPCII. No significant signal is observed, and the upper limit on the branching fraction B(Λ+c→pγ′) is determined to be 8.0×10−5 at 90% confidence level.
