Cross sections for the process e+e−→K0SK0SJ/ψ at center-of-mass energies from 4.128 to 4.950 GeV are measured using data samples with a total integrated luminosity of 21.2 fb−1 collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. The Y(4230) state is observed in the energy dependence of the e+e−→K0SK0SJ/ψ cross section for the first time with a statistical significance of 26.0σ. In addition, an enhancement around 4.710 GeV, called the Y(4710), is seen with a statistical significance of 4.2σ. There is no clear structure around 4.484 GeV. Using a fit with a coherent sum of three Breit-Wigner functions, we determine the mass and width of the Y(4230) state to be 4226.9±6.6±21.9 MeV/c2 and 71.7±16.2±31.4 MeV, respectively, and the mass and width of the Y(4710) state to be 4704.0±52.3±69.5 MeV/c2 and 183.2±114.0±90.8 MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. In addition, the average Born cross section ratio of e+e−→K0SK0SJ/ψ to e+e−→K+K−J/ψ is measured to be 0.388+0.035−0.028±0.016, or 0.426+0.038−0.031±0.018 if three-body phase space is considered.
Based on 7.33 fb−1 of e+e− collision data taken at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fraction of D∗+s→D+sπ0 relative to that of D∗+s→D+sγ to be (6.16±0.43±0.19)%. The first uncertainty is statistical and the second one is systematic. By using the world average value of the branching fraction of D∗+s→D+se+e−, we determine the branching fractions of D∗+s→D+sγ and D∗+s→D+sπ0 to be (93.57±0.44±0.19)% and (5.76±0.44±0.19)%, respectively.

Based on e+e− collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.5 fb−1 collected at the center-of-mass energies between 4.600 and 4.699 GeV with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, the absolute branching fraction of the inclusive decay Λ+c→n+X, where X refers to any possible final state particles, is measured. The absolute branching fraction is determined to be B(Λ+c→n+X)=(32.4±0.7±1.5)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. Assuming CP symmetry, the measurement indicates that about one-fourth of Λ+c (Λ¯−c) decay modes with a neutron (an anti-neutron) in the final state have not been observed.
Using 2.93 fb−1 of 𝑒+𝑒− collision data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, the first observation of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decay 𝐷+→𝐾+𝜋+𝜋−𝜋0 is reported. After removing decays that contain narrow intermediate resonances, including 𝐷+→𝐾+𝜂, 𝐷+→𝐾+𝜔, and 𝐷+→𝐾+𝜙, the branching fraction of the decay 𝐷+→𝐾+𝜋+𝜋−𝜋0 is measured to be (1.13±0.08stat±0.03syst)×10−3. The ratio of branching fractions of 𝐷+→𝐾+𝜋+𝜋−𝜋0 over 𝐷+→𝐾−𝜋+𝜋+𝜋0 is found to be (1.81±0.15)%, which corresponds to (6.28±0.52)tan4𝜃𝐶, where 𝜃𝐶 is the Cabibbo mixing angle. This ratio is significantly larger than the corresponding ratios for other doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decays. The asymmetry of the branching fractions of charge-conjugated decays 𝐷±→𝐾±𝜋±𝜋∓𝜋0 is also determined, and no evidence for 𝐶𝑃 violation is found. In addition, the first evidence for the 𝐷+→𝐾+𝜔 decay, with a statistical significance of 3.3𝜎, is presented and the branching fraction is measured to be ℬ(𝐷+→𝐾+𝜔) = (5.7+2.5−2.1stat±0.2syst)×10−5.
The rare decay 𝜂′→𝜋+𝜋−𝑒+𝑒− is studied using a sample of 1.3×109 𝐽/𝜓 events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII in 2009 and 2012. The branching fraction is measured with improved precision to be (2.42±0.05stat±0.08syst)×10−3. Due to the inclusion of new data, this result supersedes the last BESIII result on this branching fraction. In addition, the 𝐶𝑃-violating asymmetry in the angle between the decay planes of the 𝜋+𝜋−-pair and the 𝑒+𝑒−-pair is investigated. A measurable value would indicate physics beyond the standard model; the result is 𝒜𝐶𝑃=(2.9±3.7stat±1.1syst)%, which is consistent with the standard model expectation of no 𝐶𝑃-violation. The precision is comparable to the asymmetry measurement in the 𝐾0𝐿→𝜋+𝜋−𝑒+𝑒− decay where the observed (14±2)% effect is driven by a standard model mechanism.

Using (1310.6±7.0)×106 𝐽/𝜓 events acquired with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage rings, the decay 𝜂′→𝜋+𝜋−𝜇+𝜇− is observed for the first time with a significance of 8𝜎 via the process 𝐽/𝜓→𝛾𝜂′. We measure the branching fraction of 𝜂′→𝜋+𝜋−𝜇+𝜇− to be ℬ(𝜂′→𝜋+𝜋−𝜇+𝜇−)=(1.97±0.33(stat)±0.19(syst))×10−5, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively

No significant signal for D+→K∗(892)+π0 is found and we set an upper limit on the branching fraction of this decay at the 90\% confidence level to be 5.4×10−4.

Using J/ψ radiative decays from 9.0 billion J/ψ events collected by the BESIII detector, we search for di-muon decays of a CP-odd light Higgs boson (A0), predicted by many new physics models beyond the Standard Model, including the Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. No evidence for the CP-odd light Higgs production is found, and we set 90% confidence level upper limits on the product branching fraction B(J/ψ→γA0)×B(A0→μ+μ−) in the range of (1.2−778.0)×10−9 for 0.212≤mA0≤3.0 GeV/c2. The new measurement is a 6-7 times improvement over our previous measurement, and is also slightly better than the BaBar measurement in the low-mass region for tanβ=1.

Using the world averaged value of ℬ𝐷+→𝜂𝑒+𝜈𝑒, the ratio of the two branching fractions is determined to be ℬ𝐷+→𝜂𝜇+𝜈𝜇/ℬ𝐷+→𝜂𝑒+𝜈𝑒=0.91±0.13(stat+syst), which agrees with the theoretical expectation of lepton flavor universality within uncertainty. By studying the differential decay rates in five four-momentum transfer intervals, we obtain the product of the hadronic form factor 𝑓𝜂+(0) and the 𝑐→𝑑 Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |𝑉𝑐𝑑| to be 𝑓𝜂+(0)|𝑉𝑐𝑑|=0.087±0.008stat±0.002syst. On the other hand, using the value of 𝑓𝜂+(0) calculated in theory, we find |𝑉𝑐𝑑| = 0.242±0.022stat±0.006syst±0.033theory.

We study ηc production at center-of-mass energies s√ from 4.18 to 4.60 GeV in e+e− annihilation data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, corresponding to 7.3 fb−1 of integrated luminosity. We measure the cross sections of the three different exclusive reactions e+e−→ηcπ+π−π0, e+e−→ηcπ+π−, and e+e−→ηcπ0γ. We find significant ηc production in e+e−→ηcπ+π−π0 at s√ of 4.23 GeV and 4.26 GeV and observe a significant energy-dependent Born cross section that we measure to be consistent with the production via the intermediate Y(4260) resonance. In addition, we perform a search for a charmonium-like Zc state close to the DD¯ threshold that decays to ηcπ, involving ground state charmonium, and observe no signal. Corresponding upper limits on the cross section of ηc and Zc production are provided, where the yields are not found to be significant.

By analyzing the large-angle Bhabha scattering events e+e− → (γ)e+e− and diphoton events e+e− → (γ)γγ for the data sets collected at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies between 2.2324 and 4.5900 GeV (131 energy points in total) with the upgraded Beijing Spectrometer (BESIII) at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPCII), the integrated luminosities have been measured at the different c.m. energies, individually. The results are important inputs for the R value and J/ψ resonance parameter measurements.
The Born cross sections for the process e+e−→η′π+π− at different center-of-mass energies between 2.00 and 3.08 GeV are reported with improved precision from an analysis of data samples collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring. An obvious structure is observed in the Born cross section line shape. Fit as a Breit-Wigner resonance, it has a statistical significance of 6.3σ and a mass and width of M=(2111±43±25)~MeV/c2 and Γ=(135±34±30)~MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. These measured resonance parameters agree with the measurements of BABAR in e+e−→η′π+π− and BESIII in e+e−→ωπ0 within two standard deviations.
