Using an e+e− annihilation data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93fb−1 collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773\,GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the absolute branching fractions of D+→ηηπ+, D+→ηπ+π0, and D0→ηπ+π− to be (2.96±0.24±0.13)×10−3, (2.23±0.15±0.11)×10−3, and (1.20±0.07±0.04)×10−3, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones systematic. The D+→ηηπ+ decay is observed for the first time and the branching fractions of D+(0)→ηπ+π0(−) are measured with much improved precision. In addition we test for CP asymmetries in the separated charge-conjugate branching fractions; no evidence of CP violation is found.
Using a data sample of (448.1±2.9)×106 ψ(3686) decays collected by the BESIII detector at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPCII), we observe the decays χcJ→ϕϕη (J=0, 1, 2), where the χcJ are produced via the radiative processes ψ(3686)→γχcJ. The branching fractions are measured to be B(χc0→ϕϕη)=(8.41±0.74±0.62)×10−4, B(χc1→ϕϕη)=(2.96±0.43±0.22)×10−4, and B(χc2→ϕϕη)=(5.33±0.52±0.39)×10−4, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. We also search for intermediate states in the ϕϕ or ηϕ combinations, but no significant structure is seen due to the limited statistics.
The cross sections of the process e+e−→K0SK0L are measured at fifteen center-of-mass energies s√ from 2.00 to 3.08 GeV with the BESIII detector at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPCII). The results are found to be consistent with those obtained by BaBar. A resonant structure around 2.2 GeV is observed, with a mass and width of 2273.7±5.7±19.3 MeV/c2 and 86±44±51 MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic. The product of its radiative width (Γe+e−) with its branching fraction to K0SK0L (BrK0SK0L) is 0.9±0.6±0.7 eV.

By analyzing 2.93 fb−1 of data taken at the ψ(3770) resonance peak with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fractions for the hadronic decays D+→K0SK0SK+, D+→K0SK0Sπ+, D0→K0SK0S and D0→K0SK0SK0S. They are determined to be B(D+→K0SK0SK+)=(2.54±0.05stat.±0.12sys.)×10−3, B(D+→K0SK0Sπ+)=(2.70±0.05stat.±0.12sys.)×10−3, B(D0→K0SK0S)=(1.67±0.11stat.±0.11sys.)×10−4 and B(D0→K0SK0SK0S)=(7.21±0.33stat.±0.44sys.)×10−4, where the second one is measured for the first time and the others are measured with significantly improved precision over the previous measurements.

Using e+e− collision data at ten center-of-mass energies between 2.644 and 3.080 GeV collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 500 pb−1, we measure the cross sections and effective form factors for the process e+e−→Ξ0Ξ¯0 utilizing a single-tag method. A fit to the cross section of e+e−→Ξ0Ξ¯0 with a pQCD-driven power function is performed, from which no significant resonance or threshold enhancement is observed. In addition, the ratio of cross sections for the processes e+e−→Ξ−Ξ¯+ and Ξ0Ξ¯0 is calculated using recent BESIII measurement and is found to be compatible with expectation from isospin symmetry.
By analyzing 2.93 fb−1 of data collected at s√=3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the absolute branching fraction B(D+→K¯0μ+νμ)=(8.72±0.07stat.±0.18sys.)%, which is consistent with previous measurements within uncertainties but with significantly improved precision. Combining the Particle Data Group values of B(D0→K−μ+νμ), B(D+→K¯0e+νe), and the lifetimes of the D0 and D+ mesons with the value of B(D+→K¯0μ+νμ) measured in this work, we determine the following ratios of partial widths: Γ(D0→K−μ+νμ)/Γ(D+→K¯0μ+νμ)=0.963±0.044 and Γ(D+→K¯0μ+νμ)/Γ(D+→K¯0e+νe)=0.988±0.033.
Using a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb−1 taken at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV, we search for the Majorana neutrino (𝜈𝑚) in the lepton number violating decays 𝐷→𝐾𝜋𝑒+𝑒+. No significant signal is observed, and the upper limits on the branching fraction at the 90% confidence level are set to be ℬ(𝐷0→𝐾−𝜋−𝑒+𝑒+)<2.8×10−6, ℬ(𝐷+→𝐾0𝑆𝜋−𝑒+𝑒+)<3.3×10−6 and ℬ(𝐷+→𝐾−𝜋0𝑒+𝑒+)<8.5×10−6. The Majorana neutrino is searched for with different mass assumptions ranging from 0.25 to 1.0 GeV/𝑐2 in the decays 𝐷0→𝐾−𝑒+𝜈𝑚,𝜈𝑚→𝜋−𝑒+ and 𝐷+→𝐾0𝑆𝑒+𝜈𝑚,𝜈𝑚→𝜋−𝑒+, and the upper limits on the branching fraction at the 90% confidence level are at the level of 10−7∼10−6, depending on the mass of the Majorana neutrino. The constraints on the mixing matrix element |𝑉𝑒𝜈𝑚|2 are also evaluated.
The cross section of the process e+e−→K+K− is measured at a number of center-of-mass energies s√ from 2.00 to 3.08 GeV with the BESIII detector at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPCII). The results provide the best precision achieved so far. A resonant structure around 2.2 GeV is observed in the cross section line shape. A Breit-Wigner fit yields a mass of M=2239.2±7.1±11.3~and a width of Γ=139.8±12.3±20.6 MeV, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic. In addition, the time-like electromagnetic form factor of the kaon is determined at the individual center-of-mass energy points.

Based on 14.7 fb−1 of e+e− annihilation data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider at 17 different center-of-mass energies between 3.7730 GeV and 4.5995 GeV, Born cross sections of the two processes e+e−→pp¯η and e+e−→pp¯ω are measured for the first time. No indication of resonant production through a vector state V is observed, and upper limits on the Born cross sections of e+e−→V→pp¯η and e+e−→V→pp¯ω at the 90% confidence level are calculated for a large parameter space in resonance masses and widths. For the current world average parameters of the ψ(4230) of m=4.2187 GeV/c2 and Γ=44 MeV, we find upper limits on resonant production of the pp¯η and pp¯ω final states of 7.5 pb and 10.4 pb at the 90% CL, respectively.

We report a measurement of the observed cross sections of e+ e− → J/ψX based on 3.21 fb − 1 of data accumulated at energies from 3.645 to 3.891 GeV with the BESIII detector operated at the BEPCII collider. In analysis of the cross sections, we measured the decay branching fractions of B(ψ(3686) → J/ψX) = (64.4 ± 0.6 ± 1.6)% and B(ψ(3770) → J/ψX) = (0.5 ± 0.2 ± 0.1)% for the first time. The energy-dependent line shape of these cross sections cannot be well described by two Breit-Wigner (BW) amplitudes of the expected decays ψ (3686) → J/ψX and ψ(3770) → J/ψX. Instead, it can be better described with one more BW amplitude of the decay R(3760)→ J/ψX. Under this assumption, we extracted the R (3760) mass M R (3760 ) = 3766.2 ± 3.8 ± 0.4 MeV/c2, total width Γ tot R ( 3760 ) = 22.2 ± 5.9 ± 1.4 MeV, and product of leptonic width and decay branching fraction
ΓeeR(3760) B[R(3760) → J/ψX] = (79.4 ± 85.5 ± 11.7) eV. The significance of the R(3760) is 5.3σ. The first uncertainties of these measured quantities are from fits to the cross sections and second systematic.

The four decay modes D0 → φπ0, D0 → φη, D+ → φπ+, and D+ → φK + are studied by using a data sample taken at the centre-of-mass energy √s = 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb−1. The branching fractions of the first three decay modes are measured to be B(D0 → φπ0) = (1.168 ± 0.028 ± 0.028) × 10−3, B(D0 → φη) = (1.81 ± 0.46 ± 0.06) × 10−4, and B(D+ → φπ+) = (5.70 ± 0.05 ± 0.13) × 10−3, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. In addition, the upper limit of the branching fraction for D+ → φK+ is given to be 2.1 × 10−5 at the 90% confidence level. The ratio of B(D0 → φπ0) to B(D+ → φπ+) is calculated to be (20.49 ± 0.50 ± 0.45)%, which is consistent with the theoretical prediction based on isospin symmetry between these two decay modes.
The decay 𝐽/𝜓→𝛾𝛾𝜙 is studied using a sample of 1.31×109 𝐽/𝜓 events collected with the BESIII detector. Two structures around 1475 MeV/𝑐2 and 1835 MeV/𝑐2 are observed in the 𝛾𝜙 invariant mass spectrum for the first time. With a fit on the 𝛾𝜙 invariant mass, which takes into account the interference between the two structures, and a simple analysis of the angular distribution, the structure around 1475 MeV/𝑐2 is found to favor an assignment as the 𝜂(1475) and the mass and width for the structure around 1835 MeV/𝑐2 are consistent with the 𝑋(1835). The statistical significances of the two structures are 13.5𝜎 and 6.3𝜎, respectively. The results indicate that both 𝜂(1475) and 𝑋(1835) contain a sizeable 𝑠¯𝑠 component.
Born cross sections for the processes e+e− → ωη and e+e− → ωπ0 have been determined for centerof-mass energies between 2.00 and 3.08 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The results obtained in this work are consistent with previous measurements but with improved precision. Two resonant structures are observed. In the e+e− → ωη cross sections, a resonance with a mass of (2176 ± 24 ± 3) MeV/c2 and a width of (89 ± 50 ± 5) MeV is observed with a significance of 6.2σ. Its properties are consistent with the φ(2170). In the e+e− → ωπ0 cross sections, a resonance denoted Y (2040) is observed with a significance of more than 10σ. Its mass and width are determined to be (2034 ± 13 ± 9) MeV/c2 and (234 ± 30 ± 25) MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones are systematic.
The Born cross sections of the e+e− → +¯ − and e+e− → −¯ + processes are determined for centerof-mass energy from 2.3864 to 3.0200 GeV with the BESIII detector. The cross section lineshapes can be described properly by a pQCD function and the resulting ratio of effective form factors for the + and − is consistent with 3. In addition, ratios of the + electric and magnetic form factors, |GE /GM |, are obtained at three center-of-mass energies through an analysis of the angular distributions. These measurements, which are studied for the first time in the off-resonance region, provide precision experimental input for understanding baryonic structure. The observed new features of the ± form factors require more theoretical discussions for the hyperons.
By analyzing the large-angle Bhabha scattering events e+e− → (γ)e+e− and diphoton events e+e− → (γ)γγ for the data sets collected at center-of-mass (c.m.) energies between 2.2324 and 4.5900 GeV (131 energy points in total) with the upgraded Beijing Spectrometer (BESIII) at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPCII), the integrated luminosities have been measured at the different c.m. energies, individually. The results are important inputs for the R value and J/ψ resonance parameter measurements.
Using 5.9 pb−1 of e+e− annihilation data collected at center-of-mass energies from 3.640 to 3.701 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII Collider, we measure the observed cross sections of e+e−→K0SX (where X=anything). From a fit to these observed cross sections with the sum of continuum and ψ(3686) and J/ψ Breit-Wigner functions and considering initial state radiation and the BEPCII beam energy spread, we obtain for the first time the inclusive decay branching fraction B(ψ(3686)→K0SX)=(16.04±0.29±0.90)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic.
Based on 586 pb−1 of e+e− annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of s√=4.6 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the absolute branching fraction of Λ+c→pK0Sη decays is measured for the first time to be B(Λ+c→pK0Sη)=(0.414±0.084±0.028)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The result is compatible with a previous CLEO result on the relative branching fraction B(Λ+c→pK0Sη)B(Λ+c→pK−π+), and consistent with theoretical predictions of SU(3) flavor symmetry.
