Při vyjadřování a popisu emocí zaujímají frazémy mezi jazykovými prostředky ojedinělé postavení. Ĉlánek nastiňuje dŧvody k tomuto tvrzení: Prostřednictvím frazémŧ jsou emoce vyjadřovány jednak díky silné expresivní sloţce frazeologického významu, jednak i díky samotnému (expresivnímu) uţití frazému v textu. Některé frazémy rovněţ mohou emoce oznaĉovat (popisovat, tematizovat), resp. k nim svým významem odkazovat (sich die Augen ausweinen können → smutek, zoufalství). Pro ilustraci výše uvedených úvah byla vybrána formálně i sémanticky omezená skupina frazémŧ – verbální frazémy obsahující somatické substantivum. Zvláštní roli tzv. somatických frazémŧ v problematice verbální artikulace a popisu emocí lze vysvětlit jejich frazeologickou aktivitou, vysokou symboliĉností některých somatických komponentŧ (Herz) a především tím, jak odráţejí úzkou interakci mezi emocemi a tělesnými stavy (einen Kloß im Hals haben), resp. jak verbalizují nonverbální projevy mimiky a gestiky (den Kopf hängen lassen).
U radu se analizira poglavlje Sprichwörter – Prirečja iz Kristijanovićeva Anhanga, aneksnog rječnika dodanog njegovoj Grammatik der kroatischen Mundart. Prirečja sadrže kajkavsku paremiološku građu s njemačkim ekvivalentima koja se analizira s obzirom na njezine izvore i leksikografsku obradbu. Pokazuje se da osim poslovica rječnik sadrži i frazeme i kolokvijalne izraze. Posebna se pozornost posvećuje semantičkoj analizi poslovica i naznačuje na koji se aspekt ljudskog života pouka i poruka odnose.
The present study, based on a typological survey of ca. 70 languages, offers a systematization of consonantal insertions by classifying them into three main types: grammatical, phonetic, and prosodic insertions. The three epenthesis types essentially differ from each other in terms of preferred sounds, domains of application, the role of segmental context, their occurrence cross-linguistically, the extent of variation and phonetic explication.
The present investigation is significantly different from other analyses of consonantal epentheses in the sense that it neither invokes markedness nor diachronic state of the processes under discussion. Instead, it considers the different nature of the epenthetic segments by referring to the representational levels and/or domains which are relevant for their appearance.
Prefácio Este esboço gramatical teve origem nos trabalhos da Sociedade Internacional de Linguística (SIL) em Moçambique. O que se procura nesta modesta contribuição ao ambiente sociocultural é apresentar um modelo simples da descrição de aspectos gramaticais para encorajar o uso da língua local e facilitar ao público um melhor acesso a um aspecto da sua rica cultura. O esboço aqui apresentado é uma breve introdução à língua Ekoti que foi produzido durante um seminário linguístico em Julho 2004 no escritório do programa Ekoti em Angoche. Este pequeno estudo segue o padrão das “Notas Gramaticais sobre a Língua Emakhuwa”, o primeiro estudo na série “Monografias Linguísticas Moçambicanas, elaborado em 2003, imprimido em 2006. Queremos endereçar os nossos agradecimentos calorosos ao Governo Distrital do Distrito de Angoche, ao Conselho Municipal, e à Direcção Distrital da Educação e Cultura que facilitam um clima vantajoso para o desenvolvimento e a pesquisa da língua Ekoti. Um dicionário contribui para a permanência e a padronização duma língua. O desenvolvimento das línguas moçambicanas serve para enriquecer e fortalecer esta nação. Alem disso, facilita a transição do povo para a aprendizagem da língua portuguesa. A ortografia usada neste dicionário segue as recomendações de NELIMO, o Núcleo de Estudo de Línguas Moçambicanas. A única excepção é o uso da letra j para o som ‘dj’ ou ‘tj’: NELIMO recomenda que seja escrita com c. Estamos abertos para receber quaisquer sugestões que eventualmente surgirem pela parte dos prezados leitores.

In der Zeitschrift Studia Germanistica werden Forschungsergebnisse zu aktuellen Themen auf dem Gebiet der germanistischen Linguistik, Literaturwissenschaft und DaF-Didaktik publiziert, die den Stand der Forschung in Tschechien sowie im Ausland dokumentieren. Bestandteile der Zeitschrift sind kulturwissenschaftliche Studien und Rezensionen.
In der Zeitschrift Studia Germanistica werden Forschungsergebnisse zu aktuellen Themen auf dem Gebiet der germanistischen Linguistik, Literaturwissenschaft und DaF-Didaktik publiziert, die den Stand der Forschung in Tschechien sowie im Ausland dokumentieren. Bestandteile der Zeitschrift sind kulturwissenschaftliche Studien und Rezensionen.
This questionnaire is intended as an aid to eliciting different relative clause types – restrictive, non-restrictive, free, cleft. We have taken care to include examples where the head plays a variety of grammatical functions in the relative clause (subject, object, indirect object, possessor, adjunct). We have also taken care to include examples where the relative clause is in different positions in the sentence: initial, medial and extraposed. The questionnaire is intended as a guide, only, as every language will have its own set of possibilities and complications. At the end of the questionnaire is a checklist, as well as some illustrative examples in English and Swahili of the basic relative clause types. While we had Bantu languages in mind in devising the questionnaire, we hope it could also be useful to linguists with an interest in other languages.
All of the papers in the volume except one (Kaji) take up some aspect of relative clause construction in some Bantu language. Kaji’s paper aims to account for how Tooro (J12; western Uganda) lost phonological tone through a comparative study of the tone systems of other western Uganda Bantu languages. The other papers examine a range of ways of forming relative clauses, often including non-restrictive relatives and clefts, in a wide range of languages representing a variety of prosodic systems.
