Although students make a great effort to learn a foreign language, it is an undeniable fact that they have some difficulties of understanding during communication. One of the prominent reasons of this situation is their having lack of vocabulary rather than grammar knowledge. This situation also effects the motivation of students in the process of learning negatively. Especially, words that have morphological similarities, but semantically different ones cause a problem in the process of learning, which can not be overcome without getting help professionally. The morphological similarities of the words lead students fail to understand different meanings of these kinds of words. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to investigate the words which cause difficulties because of the morphological similarities for the students to learn. As the study handles the subject in this concrete perspective, it contributes to the teachers having problems in teaching aforementioned difficult words.
Formale Dialogspieltheorien
(1994)
This paper develops the formal foundations of semantic theories dealing with various kinds of nominalisations. It introduces a combination of an event-calculus with a type-free theory which allows a compositional description to be given of such phenomena like Vendler's distinction between perfect and imperfect nominals, iteration of gerunds and Cresswell's notorious non-urrival of'the train examples. Moreover, the approach argued for in this paper allows a semantic explanation to be given for a wide range of grammatical observations such as the behaviour of certain tpes of nominals with respect to their verbal contexts or the distribution of negation in nominals.
There is an elegant account, proposed by Beaver and Condoravdi (2003), that assumes that the temporal connectives before and after are converses (i.e., they are analyzed by means of a unified lexical schema), and that explains away their different logical and veridical behavior appealing to other factors. There is an elegant explanation that connects the licensing of Polarity Items to informational strengthening requirements: Polarity Items are viewed as existentials that lead to a widening of the domain of quantification, and they are predicted to be legitimate only when this widening leads to a stronger statement (roughly, in downward monotone contexts). My plan is to connect these two approaches – by proposing an amendment in the definition Beaver and Condoravdi presented for before and after that is meant to account also for their Polarity Items licensing behavior.
Ključne riječi: Šemnica Gornja ; govor ; naglasni sustav; samoglasnički i suglasnički sustav
Uvod; 2. Glasovi; 3. Oblici imenica; 4. Naglasak imenica; 5. Naglasak imenica s nekim sufiksima i prefiksima; 6. Češće kaljske imenice podijeljene na sinkronijske naglasne paradigme; 7. Primjer kaljskoga govora; Literatura
