Anhand der Konstruktion von Joan of Arc in Saint Joan untersucht dieser Artikel, wie George Bernard Shaw die Position einer Außenseiterin nutzt, um seine geschlechtspolitischen und ästhetischen Ziele zu verdeutlichen. Im Vergleich mit älteren Darstellungen der französischen Nationalheldin wird Shaws spezifische Rezeption des Jeanne-d’Arc-Mythos skizziert und dargestellt, wie Shaw Joans geschlechtliche Differenz als Fortsetzung seiner Kritik an Geschlechternormen entwickelt. Aufbauend darauf präsentiert Shaw Joan zudem als mentale Ausnahmefigur, über deren Visionen ein anderer Begriff des Realismus stark gemacht wird, mit dem Shaw sein eigenes schriftstellerisches Wirken identifiziert.
Professionelle Kompetenz gilt als zentrale Handlungsressource unterrichtlichen Handelns. Berufsbezogene Überzeugungen und Werte (beliefs) können dessen Qualität maßgeblich beeinflussen und sind Gegenstand zahlreicher empirischer Untersuchungen. Eine Vielzahl von Forschungsvorhaben präzisieren den gewählten Beliefbegriff hinsichtlich fachwissenschaftlicher, fachdidaktischer oder (sonder)pädagogischer Fragestellungen. In dem vorliegenden Beitrag wird zunächst unser Begriffsverständnis von professioneller Handlungskompetenz, Inklusion und Teachers’ Beliefs theoretisch begründet. Von diesen Betrachtungen ausgehend, wird das Forschungsdesign einer qualitativen Studie abgeleitet, welches die inklusionsbezogenen Überzeugungen von angehenden Lehrkräften hinsichtlich eines gemeinsamen Unterrichts beschreibt sowie Implikationen für die Hochschullehre aus Studierendenperspektive ermöglicht. Die Ergebnisse geben Aufschluss über das Heterogenitätsverständnis von Lehramtsstudierenden der Regelschule, deren vorherrschenden Rollenbildern und ideellen Überzeugungen zu inklusivem Unterricht. Sie skizzieren außerdem hochschuldidaktische Maßnahmen, welche aus Studierendenperspektive einen Beitrag für die Vorbereitung im Unterricht inklusiver Klassen leisten können. Konsequenzen, die sich aus unserer Sicht für die Ausbildung von Lehramtsstudierenden ergeben, werden mit Fokus auf die Entmystifizierung inklusionsbezogener Überzeugungen diskutiert.
Danubeland scapes have been a recurrent topic in the German-language literature of Southeastern Europe, especially in German literature from Romania, which was the only one to survive the end of the Second World War in the Eastern Bloc. They developed different forms on both-sides of the Iron Curtain. In the West, the Danubeservedas a frame work for the consolidation of a common identity of many disparate groups of former German minorities from Southeastern Europe under the collective name “Danube Swabians”. Additionally, writers from Romania who emi-grated to the West recalled in their works bothwonderful and frightening images of the lower Danube. In Romania, Danube landscapes are to be seen as attempts to negotiate the concept of homeland from a contemporary perspective after its appropriation by the patriotic literature of the court literati. They emergedas a stage for projecting new sensi-tivities: the suffering of isolation, economic misery and environmental pollution. Subversively narrated landscapes also set hidden signs of the memory of the isolated deten-tion camps on the periphery of the country. The transfor-mation of Danube landscapes is analysed by using literary examples after 1945.
This paper adds to the growing field of conversation analytical re-search on smartphone-use in face-to-face interactions. Whenever smartphones are used in mobile-supported sharing activities - e. g. to show a picture to co-present others - the smartphone user needs to search for and find the “searchable object” in the World Wide Web, an App or on the device’s local memory. Analyzing audio-recordings of naturally-occurring conversations, this paper iden-tifies two types of practices of speech that explicitly orient to on-going smartphone-supported searches: Collaborative search (cf. Brown/McGregor/McMillan 2015) and search-accompanying com-mentary by the smartphone-user. Both practices verbally provide for the accountability of the otherwise opaque device use. They differ in the way they produce opportunities for co-present others to substantively contribute to the progression of the search as well as the degree to which they produce the search as an interactionally public event.
ϒ production in p–Pb interactions is studied at the centre-of-mass energy per nucleon–nucleon collision √sNN = 8.16 TeV with the ALICE detector at the CERN LHC. The measurement is performed reconstructing bottomonium resonances via their dimuon decay channel, in the centre-of-mass rapidity intervals 2.03 < ycms < 3.53 and −4.46 < ycms < −2.96, down to zero transverse momentum. In this work, results on the ϒ(1S) production cross section as a function of rapidity and transverse momentum are presented. The corresponding nuclear modification factor shows a suppression of the ϒ(1S) yields with respect to pp collisions, both at forward and backward rapidity. This suppression is stronger in the low transverse momentum region and shows no significant dependence on the centrality of the interactions. Furthermore, the ϒ(2S) nuclear modification factor is evaluated, suggesting a suppression similar to that of the ϒ(1S). A first measurement of the ϒ(3S) has also been performed. Finally, results are compared with previous ALICE measurements in p–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV and with theoretical calculations.

ϒ production and nuclear modification at forward rapidity in Pb–Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV

The production of Υ mesons in Pb-Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair sNN−−−√ = 5 TeV is measured with the muon spectrometer of ALICE at the LHC. The yields as well as the nuclear modification factors are determined in the forward rapidity region 2.5<y<4.0, as a function of rapidity, transverse momentum and collision centrality. The results show that the production of Υ(1S) is suppressed by a factor of about three with respect to the production in proton-proton collisions. For the first time, a significant Υ(2S) signal is observed at forward rapidity, indicating a suppression stronger by about a factor 2-3 with respect to the ground state. The measurements are compared with transport, hydrodynamic, comover and statistical hadronisation model calculations.
From 1310.6×106 J/ψ and 448.1×106 ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII experiment, we report the first observation of Σ+ and Σ¯− spin polarization in e+e−→J/ψ(ψ(3686))→Σ+Σ¯− decays. The relative phases of the form factors ΔΦ have been measured to be (−15.5±0.7±0.5)∘ and (21.7±4.0±0.8)∘ with J/ψ and ψ(3686) data, respectively. The non-zero value of ΔΦ allows for a direct and simultaneous measurement of the decay asymmetry parameters of Σ+→pπ0 (α0=−0.998±0.037±0.009) and Σ¯−→p¯π0 (α¯0=0.990±0.037±0.011), the latter value being determined for the first time. The average decay asymmetry, (α0−α¯0)/2, is calculated to be −0.994±0.004±0.002. The CP asymmetry ACP,Σ=(α0+α¯0)/(α0−α¯0)=−0.004±0.037±0.010 is extracted for the first time, and is found to be consistent with CP conservation.
We study odd parity J=1/2 and J=3/2 Ξc resonances using a unitarized coupled-channel framework based on a SU(6)lsf×HQSS-extended Weinberg–Tomozawa baryon–meson interaction, while paying a special attention to the renormalization procedure. We predict a large molecular ΛcK¯ component for the Ξc(2790) with a dominant 0− light-degree-of-freedom spin configuration. We discuss the differences between the 3/2− Λc(2625) and Ξc(2815) states, and conclude that they cannot be SU(3) siblings, whereas we predict the existence of other Ξc-states, one of them related to the two-pole structure of the Λc(2595). It is of particular interest a pair of J=1/2 and J=3/2 poles, which form a HQSS doublet and that we tentatively assign to the Ξc(2930) and Ξc(2970), respectively. Within this picture, the Ξc(2930) would be part of a SU(3) sextet, containing either the Ωc(3090) or the Ωc(3119), and that would be completed by the Σc(2800). Moreover, we identify a J=1/2 sextet with the Ξb(6227) state and the recently discovered Σb(6097). Assuming the equal spacing rule and to complete this multiplet, we predict the existence of a J=1/2 Ωb odd parity state, with a mass of 6360 MeV and that should be seen in the ΞbK¯ channel.
