• Das Thema fokussiert die Problematik der binären Präposition-Substantiv-Wortverbindungen (PWV) und -Wortverbindungsmuster (PWVM) mit ihren rekurrenten Kollokationspartnern und syntagmatischen Kontextmustern. Untersucht werden deutsche präpositionale Wortverbindungen, bei denen die interne Stelle zwischen der Präposition und dem Nomen überproportional häufig nicht mit einem Artikel besetzt ist. Solche Kombinationen kann man als autonome Einheiten auffassen und als feste Wortverbindungen untersuchen. Die Analyse stützt sich auf die Daten in der PRECON Datenbank, die vom Projekt Usuelle Wortverbindungen (UWV) modular erarbeitet wurde. Der im vorliegenden Artikel präsentierte empirische Zugang wirft ein neues Licht auf die Bestimmung der Äquivalenz, was bisher bei der Festlegung des sogenannten Systemäquivalents gar nicht oder nur annähernd beschrieben werden konnte. Das methodologische und lexikographische Novum beim Kontrastieren ist die Erweiterung der Beschreibung der Kernbedeutung(en) und ihrer Kernäquivalente um die Gebrauchsspezifika der Verwendung der äquivalenten PWV(M). Die korpusempirischen Analysen bestätigen die heute vertretene These, dass sich die Bedeutungs- und andere Gebrauchsaspekte nur schwer trennen lassen. Für die adäquate Beschreibung einer fremdsprachigen Einheit sind somit die verfestigte sprachliche Struktur, die verfestigte sprachliche Umgebung, die verfestigten situativ-kontextuellen Gebrauchsspezifika und die usualisierten Kontextmuster wichtig, in die die kontrastierten PWV eingebettet sind.
• The topic focuses on the problems of the lexicon-grammar continuum using the example of the lexical-syntagmatic combinatorics of minimal word connections. The focus is on binary preposition-noun word combinations (PWV) and patterns (PWVM) with their recurrent collocation partners and syntagmatic context patterns. The analytical starting point is formed by statistically calculated syntagmatic profiles of selected German prepositions on the basis of language corpora. In the contrasting language Slovak, the German PWVM are also examined on a corpus basis with regard to their equivalence. The exhaustive corpus-empirical analyses show that the levels of meaning and other aspects of use are difficult to separate in practice. One of the fundamental innovations in the contrastive model is the determination and detailed description of the external and internal variability of the contrasted PWV. This empirical approach sheds new light on the determination of equivalence. The methodological and lexicographical novelty in contrasting is the expansion of the description of the core meaning(s) and their core equivalents with the specifics of the use of the equivalent PWV(M). The identical methodological procedure is also applied consistently when comparing the variance patterns. The qualitative evaluation of the slot occupations in the equivalent patterns provides information about typical identical or differentially preferred X-slot occupations and gaps in the respective slot paradigm. The differences between PWV and their equivalents do not form clear disjunctive extensional and intensional relations, but rather they form various gradual and inclusive equivalence relationships across the paradigmatic and syntagmatic classes in which the PWV function.
